Vitals
Full Name: Red Ischyri
Gender: Female
Age: One year
Species: Gray fox
Appearance: Red is a small fox, comparative to…well, everything. She kept hoping for a growth spurt, but it never came. At most, she weighs 3.6 kg. Luckily, she was named for her fur, not her height. Unusually for a gray fox, she has quite a bit of red coloring. She only has wiry, gray fur striping from her face to the tip of her tail. A pearly white covers her jaw and underbelly. The rest is a light, marble-like red. Her eyes are a deep brown; you can barely tell, because they blend into her gray face. Her muzzle is white as well, stripped black on the sides (like a classic gray).
The Heart
Personality: Red has always been the odd child. Her head is usually in the clouds, thinking and attempting the impossible. When she was younger, she jumped off a high branch, flapping her legs covered in leaves thinking she would fly like a bird. That one moment is her entire life in a nutshell. Being different, both physically and socially, has led her to slightly introverted habits. But, when she has the chance, she will bombard you with rapid-fire chatter.
Well, at least, that’s her cover up. Underneath all that fluff, she has a great understanding for foxes and the world around her. She sees things others ignore and finds beauty in every blade of grass. This often makes her distracted and the vulpine equivalent of ADD. She also is great at discovering a fox’s joys and ticks. Usually, she knows how to worm her way through a social situation, but she mostly likes to confuse others with her goofy nature.
In a physical confrontation, Red is obviously not the best of competitors. When it comes to blows, she usually turns tail and runs, but others she’s able to wear down her opponent with words (this is usually last resort). She’s used to foxes not enjoying, or even disliking her company, but she tries to make her best impression on strangers.
Virtues and Skills:
- She can climb trees! Her family used to call her the Red Monkey for how many times she would climb the hard to reach branches of her home forest.
- Affable (when she wants to)
- Above-average intelligence. She theorizes about small phenomena i.e. gravity and star movements.
- Fast. She has a small body working towards her.
Faults and Weaknesses:
- Tiny. She’s not exactly the strongest fox who ever lived, or the heaviest. She is easily knocked around by larger foes.
- Inexperience. Keep in mind, she’s only one year old and still likes to get into trouble.
- Distracted. Um, yeah, bad survival quality.
- Fear of Water. Hates. Rivers.
The Bygones
Brief Bio:Not much has happened in Red’s one year on Earth. She grew up with a mother, father, and a few siblings in a tiny pack. The young fox left as soon as she could, leaving her kin behind with few regrets. (Also, her birth name was Eris, but her family nicknamed her Red. So, she just stuck with that.)
Family Relations:
Kiron Ischyri III – Father
Thetis (Crua) Ischyri – Mother
Kiron IV – Brother
Calisto – Brother
Zenia - Sister

(Just kinda made this up. My old RP style is old and rotting)
Julia spit out the flavorless wad of gum and heard a dull thunk as it hit the filth at the bottom of the can. She smacked her lips, savoring the mint that hovered on her taste buds. She was tempted to pull out another piece from the depths of her Eskimo jacket, but she knew breakfast and Orbit Peppermint were not a good combination, from experience.
Slipping into her favorite, lazy diner, she embraced the warmth that spread through her body. Her nose tingled, adjusting to the temperature and the bakery smells. The glass door was a teleport to another world. This was not the heart of New York City; this was heaven that served decadent doughnuts and unlimited coffee refills.
As a regular, she slipped into her favorite counter chair. The seat crunched, welcoming her return. She replied with a sigh of relief. Her eyes half closed, she breathed in the diner air.
But something wasn’t right. There was a tightness in her heart that warned her of change. Change. Change was not something Julia accepted willingly or without a broken heart, especially at the Vivian Diner. Her eyes flickered suspiciously to her surroundings, looking for the disturbance.
There, two seats away, a man hunched over a cup of Joe occupied where David would sit on Tuesdays. Today was Tuesday, so where was the other frequent patron. The strange man sent chills up her spine. Deep down, down to the very core of her rhythmic heart she knew what happened, to David. Her throat clogged. Her hands shook. She wanted coffee: A steaming mug of happiness to calm her nerves. But she knew that would not be enough to stop her soul from aching.
