Following the parched riverbed, one will notice that the ground grows wet underfoot and the trees open up. For perhaps a half-mile around, the ground is covered by an expanse of marsh. Swans have been found to patrol these waters, as have egrets and turtles, which make for good egg hunting. Shallow-water fish also dart about in the reeds, making a good snack if a fox is quick enough to catch them.
