OUT OF CHARACTER RULES
IN CHARACTER RULES
ESTABLISHING A CLAN
(1) RESPECT >> R-e-s-p-e-c-t. This should go without saying. All members and visitors should show proper respect and manners towards each other, without being rude, offensive, or in any other ways disorderly in conduct and manner.
(2) ACTIVITY >> I cannot stress this enough: the frequency of people joining roleplays and then never coming online. Please make sure you are at willing to commit at least one post to Borealis per week.
(3) MATURITY >> You must be mature in order to use Borealis. By this I mean: your grammar should be up to par, you should be able to handle the content (which can be rated up to PG-13), and you absolutely must be respectful to all members.
(4) PEACE >> Similarly to the topic of maturity, if you have a disagreement with someone, please notify a staff member, and do not carry it into the In Character aspects of the game.
(5) ACCOUNTS We currently operate with a one-account-per-all system. This means one account for all characters, the display name being your OOC name. Please be clear about which character your posting as in your IC threads.
IN CHARACTER RULES
(1) POWERPLAYING >> No god-modding or powerplaying. A rule everyone should know, it means no giving your character powers or controlling another player's character.
(2) ACCEPTANCE Your character must be accepted by an administrator or mod before you can begin posting in the IC boards. You are welcome in the OOC boards until then, however.
(3) DOT YOUR I'S >> Maintain proper spelling and grammar as best you can.
(4) ORDER >> Please keep a posting order, so that everyone may take their turn and it keeps the thread organized.
(5) POST LIMIT >> There is no word limit for posts here at Borealis! Just have fun and stay literate!
(6) BREEDING >> No graphic breeding please. If you will, a time skip.
(7) FIGHTING >> I'm not going to make up any rules on fighting, as here at Borealis I believe that all players should have freedom in the way that they play. All I'll say is be fair - you can't dodge every blow at you can't hit at every strike.
ESTABLISHING A CLAN
(1) Any player may establish their own clan/skulk
(2) In order for a group to become a clan/skulk, there must be 3 other foxes besides the dominant leader.
(3) To establish a clan/skulk, PM Vale with the names of the foxes included, as well as a territory you would like to claim, or that your character has discovered IC.
