Curving like a blue ribbon, the Navar River cuts along through swaths of woodland some distance from the Ellesmeer Stones. During the evening, many a fox passing along the river have paused to glance up at the darkening silhouette of the archaic stones in the distance. The river is fairly peaceful, often with willows arching over to dangle their long branches in the flow of water.
